Hi Nazneen, I hope you're keeping well 👍. I totally agree with you about our choices of music however fleetingly they are our choices. I find myself playing my new discoveries (like your good self) more often to become familiar with the artist's music and not playing my old music more regularly though my "old" music is so ingrained in my memory it still feels fresh. I like your piece about the cassette tapes it's so true how be became mini sound and mixing engineers as we compiled our favourite collections. I used to compile birthday tape collections of old and new music for a couple of chosen friends who started to reciprocate and that became our exchange of birthday cards and gifts. The prep that went into compiling a 90 mins tape and the end result was very satisfying. Best wishes 😁. Denis x
